Lotus and Goldfish in Still Water

A one-of-a-kind hand-painted fused glass art plate inspired by the quiet beauty of a Japanese lotus pond.

Two delicate lotus blossoms float above broad green leaves, while small goldfish gently swim through the clear water. The translucent, softly textured glass creates the impression of looking into a peaceful pond on a summer day.

Each lotus flower is individually hand-painted, with delicate pink and white petals surrounding its distinctive golden center. The vivid green leaves and tiny orange goldfish add movement and contrast to the tranquil composition.

Lotus flowers have long been admired in Japan and throughout Asia for their beauty and symbolism. Rising gracefully from the water, the lotus is often associated with purity, renewal, and spiritual beauty.

Each piece is individually hand-painted and kiln-fused in Japan, making it a unique work of Japanese fused glass art.
