Born in Kyoto Prefecture. I studied pottery for four years in Tambasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, and now create pottery in Miyazaki Prefecture as "Ichirun Tōbō," a studio run by my husband and me.
We meticulously craft each piece, valuing comfort in hand and vessels that seamlessly integrate into daily life.
We aim to create pieces that enrich meals and drinks, cherishing impressions gained from natural landscapes and the changing seasons.
We hope our pottery becomes a comforting presence in your daily life, with your affection growing stronger the longer you use it.

About this Work
A plate marked by free form, held to no fixed shape, and by a texture with movement in it.
Its broad, present shape shows whatever you put on it beautifully, right out to the empty space: sashimi, roast beef, an assortment of appetizers, dessert.
Even an ordinary dish at home turns into something special simply by being set on this piece.
Let it take the lead on the table and enjoy a richer hour.
