I chose the name Suirin-gama for my pottery studio, aspiring to create stylish and dignified pieces. My aim is not to make assertive pottery, but rather simple pieces that enhance the food they hold, just as Rosanjin Kitaoji said, "A vessel is the kimono for food."

Using both porcelain and pottery, I prioritize creating warm, easy-to-use tableware for daily life.

My main artistic style emphasizes simple yet impactful shapes and pleasant textures.

At Suirin-gama, I aim to add color to daily life through tableware that can be used every day. I strive to infuse my work with a warmth that only handmade items can possess, rather than a mechanical feel.
