About this Work

This popular octagonal plate is now available as a deep bowl! It can neatly hold a generous serving of salad. It's a versatile dish that makes anything from curry and Western-style donburi to strawberries look appealing. As these are handmade, some items may have slight wobbles, distortions, small holes, or unevenness, and the back stamp may be difficult to see due to the manufacturing process. Also, because natural materials are used, some items may have small iron spots (black spots) from the clay, or glaze drips, pooling, or pinholes. Even when made in the same way, no two pieces are exactly alike. We hope you will appreciate each piece's unique character and charm.
