岡山県備前市に位置する鳴瀧窯（なるたきがま）は、備前焼の伝統的な美しさと現代的な感性を融合させた作陶で知られる窯元です。
備前焼の原点である「土」と「炎」の力を最大限に引き出す手法を大切にしています。釉薬を使わず、1200度以上の高温で約2週間焼き続けることで生まれる「胡麻（ごま）」や「緋襷（ひだすき）」といった独特の景色が魅力でありながら、現代の食卓に馴染むテーブルウェアも手掛けています。
登り窯による自然な焼き上がりにこだわり、使い込むほどに味わいが増す「育てる器」としての完成度を追求しています。重厚感がありながらも、どこか温かみを感じさせる作品たちです。

About this Work
We value the method of maximizing the power of "clay" and "fire," the origins of Bizen ware. While the unique patterns of "goma" (sesame) and "hidasuki" (scarlet marks) created by firing for about two weeks at temperatures exceeding 1200 degrees Celsius without glaze are appealing, we also produce tableware that fits into modern dining settings.
We are particular about the natural finish achieved in a climbing kiln, pursuing perfection as "vessels that grow" and become more flavorful with use. Our works are substantial yet somehow warm.
