Furutani Potters was established in 1970 by Nobuo Furutani. By applying white slip to our unique blend of iron-rich red clay and firing it twice at low temperatures, we create soft, powdered vessels. The "white" of our powdered ceramics is rustic and warm. It gently embraces any dish and pairs perfectly with other tableware.
