岡山県備前市に位置する鳴瀧窯（なるたきがま）は、備前焼の伝統的な美しさと現代的な感性を融合させた作陶で知られる窯元です。
備前焼の原点である「土」と「炎」の力を最大限に引き出す手法を大切にしています。釉薬を使わず、1200度以上の高温で約2週間焼き続けることで生まれる「胡麻（ごま）」や「緋襷（ひだすき）」といった独特の景色が魅力でありながら、現代の食卓に馴染むテーブルウェアも手掛けています。
登り窯による自然な焼き上がりにこだわり、使い込むほどに味わいが増す「育てる器」としての完成度を追求しています。重厚感がありながらも、どこか温かみを感じさせる作品たちです。

關於本作
We value methods that maximize the power of "earth" and "fire," which are the origins of Bizen ware. We create unique textures such as "goma" (sesame seed-like patterns) and "hidasuki" (scarlet cord-like patterns) that are produced by firing the pieces for about two weeks at temperatures over 1200 degrees Celsius without using glazes. At the same time, we also produce tableware that fits seamlessly into modern dining settings.
We are committed to the natural finish achieved through climbing kilns, and we strive for perfection in our "evolving vessels" that gain more character with use. Our pieces possess a sense of profoundness yet exude a certain warmth.
The saucer measures 14cm in length and width, and 1cm in height.
