The Mist of Night Plate, Medium — Kyoto No.1

I create ceramic works as if drawing poems with clay, using the spirit of Japanese folk crafts, with textures and similarities found in nature. Currently, I am producing the "Ubiquity," "Night Mist," and "Walking Moon" series. All series are accompanied by poems.
The works are vessels inspired by the serene landscapes of Kyoto. Using Shigaraki clay and other materials, I handcrafted everyday vessels that embody the flow of time, filled with breath and warmth, and adorned with over five types of glazes applied with cloth and newspapers to create different expressions.
