I'm Naohiro Yoshida, and I make everyday pottery in Fukushima Prefecture.
"Pottery to delight your life"
I create pieces with the hope that daily use of my pottery will bring joy, happiness, fun, and gratitude into people's lives.
My main style features a matte glaze called "Fuka Hakuyu," which has a rough, stone-like texture, and a crackle pattern called "kannyu" that appears as the pottery cools.
As you use the pottery, the kannyu will absorb color, and the pieces will "grow" and become a familiar part of your life.
