Born in Kyoto Prefecture. I studied pottery for four years in Tambasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, and now create pottery in Miyazaki Prefecture as "Ichirun Tobo," a studio run by my husband and me.
We meticulously craft each piece, valuing comfort in hand and vessels that seamlessly integrate into daily life.
We aim to create pieces that enrich meals and drinks, cherishing impressions gained from natural landscapes and the changing seasons.
We hope our pottery becomes a comforting presence in your daily life, with your affection growing stronger the longer you use it.

About this Work
高台からすっと立ち上がる凛としたフォルムと、白と黒のコントラストが美しいフリーカップです。
上部のやわらかな白化粧と、下部の引き締まった黒・焦げ茶の釉薬の掛け分けが印象的。境目に見える土の焦げ感や釉薬の垂れ・揺らぎが、手仕事ならではの味わい深い表情を生み出しています。
キュッと締まった高台は指が掛かりやすく、包み込むように持つと手にしっくりとなじみます。
