About this Work
A "white rim plate", beautiful in its soft expression and refined form, made by the potter Iha Yuya (dango). The broadly taken rim wraps the food like the frame of a painting, dressing up even an unremarkable dish. The white texture, which lets you feel its warmth, goes outstandingly well with any cooking, Japanese or Western.
