Born in Kyoto Prefecture. I studied pottery for four years in Tambasasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, and now create pottery in Miyazaki Prefecture as "Ichirun Tōbō," a studio run by my husband and me.
We meticulously craft each piece, valuing comfort in hand and vessels that seamlessly integrate into daily life.
We aim to create pieces that enrich meals and drinks, cherishing impressions gained from natural landscapes and the changing seasons.

About this Work
A blue landscape for the table.
Deep blue spreads slowly across this bowl, like a view seen from a distance.
Blue shifts in depth toward the centre, and a taut black rim gathers the food gently together.
Use it as a rice bowl, or for a small donburi, simmered dishes, salad or noodles — it takes a wide place at the daily table.
Each piece is made one at a time, so that it lifts the food while giving you a quiet moment every time you use it.
