Champuru Plate, Large — Okinawa

A "champuru plate" where the individuality only Issui Kiln has shines through, and which is outstandingly easy to use.
As the name suggests, it was made for serving stir-fries such as goya champuru, and is marked by a shallow-bowl form with the rim rising just enough. It takes thickened or liquid dishes properly.
Champuru, of course, but also pasta, curry, a main course for one, or a simple one-plate meal — it covers a wide range. With moderate depth and solid stability, and stacking well, it suits daily use. A plate whose free, pop patterning brightens the table, and whose turn comes round constantly.
