About this Work
This is a rectangular wooden tray made by applying washi paper to wood and then coating it with lacquer. Each step of the process is done by hand.
While allowing you to enjoy the texture of washi paper through the washi-appliqué technique, it is also washable, making it suitable for a variety of uses beyond just serving tea snacks. Whether you place plates on it, use it directly, or as a holder for small items, the possibilities are endless.
