About this Work

This is a charming small pot with a sculpted rim.

The color of the rim varies depending on several factors such as the density of the white slip, the position in the kiln, and the season. There are individual differences, ranging from dark brown to nearly gray.
Please enjoy the varied colors that are characteristic of earthenware.

Since these are handmade, some items may have slight wobbles, distortions, small holes, or unevenness, and due to the manufacturing process, some backstamps may be difficult to see. Additionally, as natural ingredients are used, some items may have small iron spots (black spots) from the clay, or glaze runs, pooling, or pinholes.

Even when made in the same way, no two pieces are exactly alike. We hope you will appreciate each item's unique individuality and character.
