About this Work

This is the small size of our popular octagonal plate.
It's the perfect size for a single main dish or a breakfast plate.
Its elongated shape can even accommodate dried fish and condiments.

The octagonal plate is a high-performance dish that is not only visually appealing but also highly practical.
Its sleek appearance makes even everyday dishes look special.
Being a square plate, it optimizes space on the dining table and is easy to store.
It's less angular than a perfect square, making it easier to handle without worrying about sharp corners, and its appearance isn't overly rigid.

The color is a new shade of gray. While contemporary, it's a versatile neutral tone that blends well and offers a wide range of uses. Small white crystals and iron particles are scattered throughout.
Please note that there will be individual differences in the firing, ranging from bluish-gray to whitish-gray.

As these pieces are handmade, some may exhibit slight wobbling, warping, small holes, or unevenness, and due to the production process, some backstamps may be difficult to see. Additionally, because natural materials are used, some pieces may have small iron spots (black spots) from the clay, or glaze runs, pooling, or pinholes.

Even when made using the same methods, no two dishes are exactly alike. We hope you will appreciate the unique individuality and character of each piece.
