About this Work

A stable shape. It has a slight lip, making it pleasant to the touch when drinking.
Perfect not only for soup but also for cereals and granola.

The colored parts are made by applying rough clay and carving it with a comb. The slightly rough texture of the comb marks and the warm color enhance the white slip glaze.
The degree of redness is determined by various factors such as the concentration of the white slip, the position in the kiln, and the season. There are individual differences, ranging from dark brown to close to gray. Please enjoy the varying colors, unique to earthenware.

As these are handmade, some may have slight wobbles, distortions, small holes, or unevenness, and due to the manufacturing process, the back stamp may be difficult to see. Additionally, as natural ingredients are used, some items may have small iron spots (black dots) from the clay, or glaze runs, pools, and pinholes.

Even when made in the same way, no two pieces are exactly alike. We hope you will understand this as the unique character and charm of each piece.
