This beautiful sake cup, which can also be used as a small bowl, features exquisite shinogi (fluting) that blends the tradition of Shigaraki ware with unique modern design.

The numerous delicately carved shinogi patterns are individually etched by hand, adding color to the entire vessel. Its size makes it ideal for serving side dishes as a small bowl or for special occasions as a sake cup.

Due to its handmade nature, there are individual differences in color and carving. With continued use, it will develop a deeper luster and unique character, making it a one-of-a-kind item.

手作業で一つ一つ丁寧に彫られた「しのぎ」模様が特徴的です。「しのぎ」模様は、リズミカルで躍動感があり、器に豊かな表情を与えています。祖父から受け継いだ伝統的な窯で作陶しており、信楽焼の伝統を受け継ぎながら、しのぎという独自の特徴を入れています。

「しのぎ（鎬）」は、もともと日本刀の刀身にある山高くなった筋を指す言葉で、陶芸では、ヘラやカンナを使って表面を削り落とし、連続した縦の削り目（しのぎ文）をつけたデザイン技法です。

リム皿、スープカップ、カレー皿、湯呑み、マグカップなど様々な器（うつわ）を制作され、"しのぎ"模様で、食卓を揃えることで、華やかな印象を食卓に与えることができます。
