About this Work

This is a free cup that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, making it easy to hold with one hand. Each piece is carefully carved. The soft white of the kohiki glaze gently reveals the reddish hue of the clay. It's a small size, just right for serving guests. Perfect for tea, coffee, or sake.

As these are handcrafted, some items may have slight wobbles, distortions, small holes, or unevenness, and due to the production process, some backstamps may be difficult to see. Additionally, because natural ingredients are used, some items may have small iron spots (black spots) in the clay, or glaze flow, pooling, or pinholes.

Even when made using the same methods, no two pieces are exactly alike. We hope you will understand this as part of their individual character and charm.
